Artin
In parallel to his professional development as trained engineer, Artin attended classes at the Ecole des Beaux arts de Nice (Nice fine arts school) and for 45 years was completely fulfilled in his expressionist work focused on Brittany, Provence and flowers.
After many long years of personal reflection, it was the artist’s inner creative thirst that drove him to what was to be a new artistic rebirth at the end of 2005. Based on the structuring the matter, mastered by signs, arbitrary lines determining spacetime, writing, and words guiding the spectator in his understanding of the artwork, ARTIN'S new painting, truely esoteric, allowing the spirit to appear as materiality, remains enigmatic. His work expresses a deep interiority, truly mystic, which questions and challenges, sometimes against our knowledge.
